What is StarkNet?
StarkNet is a permissionless decentralized Validity-Rollup (often referred to as ZK-Rollup). It operates as an L2 network over Ethereum, enabling any dApp to achieve unlimited scale for its computation – without compromising Ethereum's composability and security.
As a now StarkNet Contracts and the StarkNet OS are written in Cairo. Supporting the deployment and scaling of any use case, whatever the business logic.
Why StarkNet 🤔

StarkNet supports scale, while preserving the security of L1 Ethereum by producing STARK proofs off-chain, and then verifying those proofs on-chain.

#Explore Mainnet
1. Download Wallet ( Argent X or Braavos )
Download wallet extension Argent X or Braavos wallet, you can choose 1 or both. Support Google Chrome & brave browser. Here Link to download
After downloading, create a new wallet if you haven't already. keep safe private key/seed recovery phrase.
2. Move aset ( bridge )
Bridging/move aset from other network to StarkNet. We recomended use Starkgate. But, you can also use a third party, like Orbitter, Layerswap.
Ok now bridging aset to StarkNet use Starkgate. support ( ETH, WBTC, USDT, USDC, DAI, )

- Connect wallet ( metamask & Argent X or Braavos )
- deposit some assets
- Approve / Confirm
- Wait till your asset landing in Argent X wallet

3. Explore Automated Market Maker (AMM) StarkNet ecosystem
Automated Market Maker (AMM) is a type of decentralized exchange (DEX) protocol that relies on a mathematical formula to determine asset prices. Instead of using an order book like most exchange platforms, AMM assets are priced according to a pricing algorithm. Like Uniswap, Balancer, curve, etc.

4. Minting NFT. Buy & Sell NFT on marketplace
Non-Fungible Tokens or NFTs are digital assets that represent real-world objects such as art, music, in-game items and videos. there are two popular marketplaces on the starknet ecosystem. MintSquare & Aspect. you may choose both. you can minting NFT or sell and buy NFT. but this time it's a tutorial on mintSquare.

- Select chain, StarkNet ( mainnet / testnet )
- insert image/media, just drag & drop from your local computer
- feel free to fill in anything. General & Attributes you want to insert
- click mint, approve pop-up wallet
- wait for the transaction to be confirmed on-chain
- now that you have minting NFT, look in your wallet or on your mintsquare profile
